Problem in Arachni's Haunt - Guild Wars Forums

Wondering if anyone can help me with a problem.

I just finished Arachni's Haunt, killed Arachni, but no chest is spawning. In the quest log the only objective done is kill Arachni, even kill 1 spider matriarch isn't done even though I killed two to get the dungeon key.

Anyone know if there's anything I can do other than resign? Thanks.

In the final room, you get two groups of eggs. Burning one spawns Arachni, burning the other spawns a spider Matriarch. I do believe both need to be killed to finish the dungeon and earn your end chest.

I thought that was the problem at first, but I burned the other batch of spider eggs and still nothing happened. Thanks for the reply though.

Did you kill all the Matriarchs on the way to the final room?

Also, I've had occasions when either the last Matriarch or Arachni failed to appear right away, but they eventually did after running around a bit (I think it was moving away from the eggs and then coming back, that triggered it.)

U need to kill EACH Matriarch, then u'll need to have some patience in the room. Because sometimes it takes a while before ur on the ''right'' spot to spawn the final boss / matriarch.
